$17.00/hour (+$0.25/hour for military veterans)

KRE Security, LLC is hiring dependable officers for a full-time second shift construction site security position in Harrisburg, PA. This Monday through Friday assignment offers a consistent afternoon and evening schedule, stable hours with additional hours and other shifts available and the opportunity to help protect an active construction project. No prior security experience? No problem. We will train the right candidate. If you are reliable, professional, and ready to work, we'll provide the tools and support you need to succeed.

Shift Details

• Second Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Consistent weekday schedule
• Active construction site assignment
• Additional Hours Available

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the construction site
• Conduct routine patrols of the property and perimeter
• Monitor site access and verify authorized personnel and deliveries
• Observe and report suspicious activity, trespassing, or safety concerns
• Document daily activity and incidents using Belfry software
• Enforce site security procedures and post orders
• Respond appropriately to routine security and safety incidents
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, project management, and emergency personnel when necessary

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• No security experience required—training provided
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance
• Ability to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of in-person orientation required

Pay & Benefits

• $17.00/hour
• Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week
• Paid Time Off: 40 hours after successful completion of probation
• $0.25/hour for military veterans
• Consistent full-time weekday schedule
