Security Operations Center Specialist
Joining Triple Canopy in this role allows you to leverage your expertise to help detect and prevent acts of violence against a corporation's Security Operations Center Specialist located in Miami FL. This is an exciting opportunity to support a program that strengthens America. This position requires both on-the-job training and travel training. You will need to attend and successfully complete the job training, and you may also be required to complete additional training as a condition of continued employment. Failure to successfully complete the required courses in accordance with Constellis or Client standards and policies may result in demotion or termination, as determined by management and appropriate procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance.
- Issue and collect badge, verify individual eligibility via a background database, resolve on-site access issues, and work via a "live list" to determine who should get authorized access
- Other duties as assigned.
- May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
- Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions.
Qualifications:
- US. Citizenship.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Minimum two (2) years of access control and/or security officer experience.
- Read, speak, and understand English language fluently.
