Job DescriptionSecurity Officers are responsible for the safety of patrons, employees and the Wynn and Encore Property. In addition, Security Officers are responsible for ensuring all laws and policies are followed while being responsible for creating a positive guest experience by adhering to the Forbes five-star standards and the Wynn and Encore Core Values and Behaviors.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & Security OperationsPatrol casino floor, hotel areas, and property perimeter to identify potential risks, hazards, or suspicious activity.Prevent theft, fraud, cheating, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.Enforce all company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.Incident Response & Emergency HandlingRespond promptly to emergencies including medical incidents, fires, disturbances, and criminal activity.Administer first aid/CPR as trained.De-escalate conflicts and manage disorderly conduct professionally.Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.Asset Protection & ComplianceEscort cash, chips, and other valuables across the property.Verify IDs and ensure compliance with age restrictions and gaming laws.Protect company assets and assist in safeguarding gaming operations.Guest & Employee ServiceProvide directions, assistance, and security escorts to guests and team members.Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter misconduct.Deliver exceptional guest service while enforcing security standards.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.Prior security, law enforcement, military, or hospitality experience preferred.Previous casino or gaming environment experience is a plus.Licenses / CertificationsAbility to obtain and maintain required gaming license / work cards .Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong observation and situational awarenessConflict resolution and de-escalation skillsExcellent communication and customer serviceAbility to remain calm under pressureKnowledge of safety protocols and gaming regulationsTeam-oriented with the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environmentsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periodsCapable of responding quickly to emergenciesAbility to lift, carry, and move as requiredComfortable working in a high-noise, high-traffic casino environmentWork EnvironmentResort and casino setting with 24/7 operations (including nights, weekends, and holidays)Interaction with guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentExposure to indoor and outdoor areasAdditional InformationWynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
