ODOC – SCI Correctional Corporal Lateral Transfer Request (Salem)We are seeking a qualified Correctional Corporal to join Santiam Correctional Institution in Salem. This role is vital in maintaining the safety and security of our facility while supporting the rehabilitation of adult inmates.ResponsibilitiesServe as a key member of the security team, providing custody, control, and supervision of adults in custody (AICs).Supervise AICs in housing units, control points, program and work assignments, and designated security areas.Maintain order by enforcing institutional rules and responding to emergencies and critical incidents with professionalism and sound judgment.Assist in training and mentoring staff.Minimum QualificationsCurrent ODOC Correctional Corporal employee.DPSST certified.Experience in custody, control, supervision, and emergency response within a correctional setting.BenefitsSalary range: $6,149 - $7,785 per month (non‑PERS qualifying applicants).
