Job Details Weatherford, TX 76088 • Position Type: Dispatch • Travel Percentage: Negligible • Job Shift: 8hr • Job Category: IC1 • Hours: Monday to Friday 8a-5pPosition Summary This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.Essential Functions Assess customer needs and timing of deliveriesManage daily delivery schedule for driversPlan deliveries to inventory‑managed retail gas outletsReceive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributorsProvide frontline customer service for existing accountsAnswer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteouslyMonitor e‑mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team membersMonitor web portals for station inventoriesSolicit freight from customersCreate loads in dispatch systemDivide dispatch responsibilities with other team membersEnter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system)On‑call duties as neededQualifications High school diploma or equivalentExcellent conflict resolution and skillsEffective oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
