Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule service calls for our plumbing, heating and cooling, and electrical teams. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring efficient operations, timely service delivery, and a positive customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule and dispatch technicians for service, maintenance, and emergency callsCommunicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and address inquiriesMonitor technician routes and adjust schedules as needed to maximize efficiencyPrioritize service calls based on urgency and availabilityMaintain accurate records of jobs, customer interactions, and technician statusCoordinate with field technicians to ensure they have necessary job details and materialsHandle incoming calls and service requests in a professional and timely mannerAssist in resolving scheduling conflicts or service issuesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious dispatching or customer service experience preferred (especially in home services)Strong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with scheduling software and basic computer systemsPreferred SkillsExperience in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical service industriesFamiliarity with dispatch or field service management softwareAbility to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesAbout Dalton PHCDalton PHC provides reliable plumbing, heating and cooling, and electrical services with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
