Job Summary

As a mid-level SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing intercepted signals, identifying patterns, and extracting valuable intelligence to support national security objectives. Leveraging your expertise in various SIGINT collection methods and tools, you will assess and interpret data to produce actionable reports and briefings for decision-makers. Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive analysis and contribute to ongoing efforts in enhancing SIGINT capabilities. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen understanding of the evolving landscape of signals intelligence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Signal Collection and Processing: Utilize sophisticated equipment and software to intercept and process various forms of signals, including communications, radar, and electronic emissions.

Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze intercepted signals to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, extracting valuable intelligence to support mission objectives.

Report Generation: Prepare comprehensive intelligence reports and summaries detailing findings, assessments, and recommendations for decision-makers at various levels.

Technical Expertise: Maintain proficiency in the use of SIGINT collection systems, databases, and analytic tools, staying abreast of technological advancements and emerging threats.

Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including other intelligence analysts, linguists, and technical specialists, to ensure comprehensive analysis and integrated intelligence products.

Threat Assessment: Assess the capabilities, intentions, and activities of foreign entities, including state actors, non-state actors, and terrorist organizations, based on SIGINT-derived information.

Quality Control: Conduct quality control measures to validate the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of SIGINT reporting and analysis, adhering to established standards and procedures.

Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, facilitating their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.

Operational Support: Provide real-time support to operational missions, including tasking, collection management, and exploitation of SIGINT resources.

Adaptability and Innovation: Adapt to evolving threats and changing operational environments, employing innovative techniques and methodologies to enhance SIGINT capabilities and effectiveness.

Key Skills, Education & Experience

Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in using SIGINT collection systems, tools, and software, with experience in signal processing, analysis, and exploitation.

Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate complex data sets, discern patterns, and draw insightful conclusions to support decision-making.

Critical Thinking: Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess information objectively and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.

Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SIGINT principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing SIGINT operations.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely in intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goals and objectives.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in conducting analysis, ensuring the integrity and reliability of intelligence products and reports.

Experience: At least 4+ of experience in SIGINT analysis or a related field.

Certifications and Clearance

Must possess an Active TS/SCI level security clearance with a CI or FS poly.
