Job Details Location: Vacaville (12805) – Vacaville, CA 95687Salary Range: $26.00 – $27.00 per hourShift: AnyBenefits Flexible scheduling to accommodate lifestyle commitmentsVacation, sick leave, medical, dentalSponsorship for Top Secret ClearanceComprehensive trainingDiscounts on higher educationRecognition and Reward ProgramsTraining and Career DevelopmentOpportunities for medical, dental, holidays, vacation, sick leave, and 401(k) retirement planUniform and equipment providedAdditional benefits vary depending on positionResponsibilities As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will:Monitor station‑specific alarms and events, and assist in day‑to‑day operational needs, including training new operators, maintaining contact lists, trackers, and conducting security equipment checks.Use computer software and tools such as security cameras and access systems to assess alarms and determine an appropriate course of action.Contact law enforcement or local security teams as needed.Document all actions taken in a daily activity report or incident report depending on severity of the event.Support staffing within the operation during shifts, either as a floater or to provide additional coverage when openings occur.Remain flexible and able to quickly modify work habits appropriately when changes are implemented.Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of security operation center experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience working in law enforcement or 911 dispatch.Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a call center.Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.Possess a DD214 with at least 2 years service in a command center or GSOC environment.Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Homeland Security, Information Technology, or related field.Work Environment and Schedule Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.Position requires prolonged standing and walking in the performance of daily security activities.Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as directed.Work various shifts and holidays as assigned.Veterans Inter‑Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
