Clean Harbors is seeking an onsite part‑time ERTS dispatcher in Jacksonville, FL to organize and coordinate daily activities of dispatching employees and equipment for multiple locations within the organization. Coordinate incoming customer requests and ensure the proper manpower and equipment is dispatched to provide excellent and on‑time customer services. We are solving tough problems through innovation and proven methodology – come be part of the solution with us.Why work for Clean Harbors?Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3‑6‑5!Focus on maintaining sustainability and cleaning the EarthCompetitive pay range of $25–$30 per hourComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full‑time employment including 401K with company matchOwn part of the company with our Employee Stock Purchase PlanOpportunities for growth and development for all stages of your careerCompany‑paid training and tuition reimbursementResponsibilitiesResponsible for the completion of regulatory reporting on shift.Provides day‑to‑day environmental support to open projects to ensure compliance with environmental policies, requirements, and procedures.Serves as a technical supervisor on matters relating to environmental spills.Responsible for oversight of projects including all phases of spill response, working directly with clients to ensure timely, successful spill cleanup, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction with cost‑effectiveness in mind.Dispatch contractors for excavation, transportation and disposal of products.Oversees contractors in the field to determine sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water and soil.Accurately log information from client interactions into ALERT systems; update in a timely and accurate manner so that clients can track services, inquiries and resolution.Communicate effectively to contractors, clients, regulatory officials, etc., through both written and verbal communication.Return all internal and external calls, emails and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure customers' concerns are understood, addressed and resolved efficiently.Maintains professional competency in all aspects of the job.Perform other job‑related duties as required.QualificationsDispatch, customer service experience.Working knowledge or the ability to develop knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, and DOT regulations.Strong time‑management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.Strong computer skills with solid proficiency in Microsoft applications and software used by ERTS.Ability to handle a high call volume in a fast‑paced environment dealing with emergency response calls.Effective communication with clients, employees, and outside professionals.Ability to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines.Exemplify professionalism in personal appearance and demeanor.Must be a team player and work to accomplish common goals in the department.Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
