We have an excellent opportunity for a Ready-Mix Dispatcher to join our team in Linnton, Oregon!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Receive phone orders for Ready-mix Deliveries
- Monitor and coordinate jobsite delivery and truck activity through computer terminal.
- Become familiar with the abilities of a ready-mix truck.
- Provide excellent customer service and build close customer relationships
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
- Other duties assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous truck driving and or dispatching experience and knowledge of the Portland area is preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and previous construction experience is helpful
- Working knowledge of computers, office software and website navigation
- Aptitude for rapid learning and growth
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/ functional exam, and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
