Black Hawk Business Development – Army Rapid Capability Upgrades | Lockheed Martin
Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) position for the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) Army and Air Force Systems organization, with a focus on working with our US Army customer on ways to improve the Black Hawk, with rapid capability insertion and upgrades/modifications to UH-60M and UH-60L variants.
The Work: Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Create, maintain, and expand relationships with US Army, government labs, acquisition customers, and warfighters to gain a detailed understanding of their near-, mid-, and long-term capability gaps to inform capability and capability roadmap solutions.
- Develop a deep knowledge of customer desires, and act as our external customers' advocate within LM Sikorsky.
- Identify, qualify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities that advance next generation Lockheed Martin (LM) technology and increase Army warfighting capability by integrating emerging capabilities and modernizing the BLACK HAWK fleet.
- Coordinate and lead cross-organization teams to advance LM's approach to capability development, demonstration, and transition. Support initiatives to define and demonstrate solutions for Black Hawk mission expansion and Joint All-Domain Operations in company and customer exercises.
- Define and lead operational analysis efforts to identify and validate advanced system solutions to solve customer needs and fill capability gaps.
- Lead development/implementation of go to market strategies for next generation technologies. Work closely with Sikorsky's Advanced Concepts team to transition developing technologies and concepts to programs of record.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
