The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified applicants to perform specialized firefighting and rescue duties under emergency conditions frequently involving considerable physical danger on regular 24-hour shifts; assists in the maintenance of fire equipment, apparatus, and quarters.MinimumQualifications:Graduation from HS or equivalent; at least 18 years old at time of appointment; valid driver's license at time of application; IFSAC Firefighter I and II, Haz-Mat Operations level cert. and KS EMT-B or Paramedic cert. at time of appointment (attach current certifications); and CPAT certification and FSEE score must be attached to the application to be eligible.Interested candidates must submit an application to Leavenworth Workforce Partnership Center, 515 Limit, Suite 200, Leavenworth KS.
