Pay: $30-$35
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description:
- Process permit applications and related documentation in accordance with local government regulations.
- Interact with applicants, contractors, and the public to provide information regarding permitting procedures and requirements.
- Review applications for completeness and compliance with applicable codes and ordinances.
- Utilize the iWorq software system for permit tracking and management (training provided through online training videos).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to permitting activities.
- Operate autonomously with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a governmental permitting environment is required.
- Strong understanding of permitting processes, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently in a small municipal setting.
- Comfortable learning and navigating new software systems with limited in-person training.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
