Your responsibilities will include:Enforcing access control measures to permit entry only to authorized individuals, packages, and vehiclesOperating walk-through and hand-held metal detectors, as well as x-ray machines, to screen individuals and itemsIdentifying and addressing security threats according to established protocolsPreventing, detecting, and apprehending individuals attempting unauthorized access or violating lawsExecuting emergency procedures and providing security assistance during crisesConducting roving guard services and perimeter/interior patrols to identify security breaches and unsafe conditionsMonitoring and operating various security systems, including intrusion detection, surveillance, and access control systemsProviding escort and courier services for the safe transportation of personnel and propertyPerforming emergency responses, including CPR, AED, and first aid, as neededMaintaining accurate reports, records, and logsAbility to remain mentally alert and physically ready to enforce contract requirementsUtilizing firearm when necessary, following established guidelinesDelivering exceptional customer service to facility employees and visitorsRequirementsRequirementsTo be considered for this position, candidates must meet ALL of the following requirements, and examination results must be favorable as defined by contractual standards:Experience (Must have a minimum of 2 of the following)Minimum of 3 years of armed security officer experience in commercial security, military, or law enforcementActive, retired, or honorably discharged service member of any US Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve serviceAssociate degree or completion of twenty-four college creditsGraduation from a law enforcement basic training academy and a minimum of 1 year working in law enforcementEducationHigh school diploma or GED.QualificationsMinimum age requirement: 21 yearsUS citizenship or lawful permanent residency for current members of the U.S. Armed Services or individuals with an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. MilitaryState Guard LicensePossession of valid State-issued Driver's LicenseAbility to obtain favorable verification through the E-Verify systemFluent in spoken, written, and comprehended EnglishProficiency with firearmsAbility to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficientlyProfessional demeanorAbility to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficientlyAbility to operate communication equipment, computers, and surveillance systems.May be exposed to stressful or emergency situations involving injured, distressed, or combative individuals.Requires frequent interaction with staff, visitors, and the public.Work schedules may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended or rotating shifts depending on operational needs.Must be able to remain alert, focused, and responsive throughout the shift.Other RequirementsAble to obtain and maintain required clearance/suitability and base access via comprehensive background investigationSuccessful completion of Medical/Physical examination and Drug testing with favorable resultsSuccessful completion of New Hire Academy training (includes CPR, First Aid, Baton, Screening, OC spray, Use of Force)Successful passing of firearms qualifications.Physical/Mental Requirements and Working EnvironmentCandidates must be able to:Stand, walk, run for extended periodsWork outdoors in various weather conditionsWork extended shifts and overtime when necessary.Hana Enterprises is an EEO employer: D/V/M/G
