Engagement Lead, NAVSUP

Job Description:
The Engagement Lead is responsible for overall contract performance, client relationship management, integrated delivery oversight, and identification of follow-on opportunities that advance client mission outcomes. The Engagement Lead serves as the primary interface with client leadership and ensures that all workstreams are aligned to program priorities, contract requirements, quality standards, and measurable operational results. This role requires a leader who combines NAVSUP mission understanding, executive client presence, delivery discipline, and the ability to translate trusted relationships into sustained impact and growth. This role is an Individual Contributor role to start, with the opportunity to grow a team over time. The ideal candidate is self-directed and comfortable operating independently on a day-to-day basis, while engaging internal team members for strategic collaboration and decision support as needed.
Client Leadership
- Serve as the primary senior point of contact for NAVSUP client leadership
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with government stakeholders across the engagement, as well as internal team members and strategic partners to enable aligned, high impact delivery.
- Provide strategic advice, issue resolution, and actionable recommendations aligned to mission priorities
- Lead executive meetings, status reviews, decision forums, and stakeholder engagements
- Serve as a trusted advisor who connects client challenges to firm capabilities and external best practices that drive measurable value
Delivery and Execution
- Oversee execution of all contract tasks, deliverables, and workstreams
- Ensure alignment of scope, schedule, staffing, quality, and budget across the engagement
- Establish and maintain delivery, governance, performance tracking, and escalation mechanisms
- Drive resolution of complex delivery, stakeholder, and operational issues
- Proactively identify opportunities where innovative acquisition approaches can improve client outcomes or increase mission effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for clients to gain operational and mission efficiencies through process improvement, acquisition innovation, or optimized delivery models.
Financial and Operational Management
- Monitor contract performance, burn, margin, subcontractor performance, and resource utilization
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation or corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, reporting obligations, and internal management expectations
- Support program reviews and executive decision-making with accurate, timely data
Growth and Account Expansion
- Identify follow-on opportunities, adjacent needs, and strategic issues that can be addressed through trusted delivery, with a particular emphasis on innovative acquisition vehicles and mechanisms that serve client modernization goals.
- Partner with growth and capture teams on on-contract growth, option years, recompete planning, and targeted new work
- Contribute client insight and engagement strategy to proposals and account planning
- Help position the firm as a long-term strategic partner to the Navy client, including by cultivating external partnerships that expand the firm's ability to deliver innovative solutions
Minimum Requirements
- Current and Active DOD/DOW TS/SCI
- 8+ years leading similar complex Navy programs, engagements, or mission-support initiatives, ideally for NAVSUP clients
- Demonstrated success serving as a senior client-facing leader on high-visibility federal engagements
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and executive stakeholders
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in dynamic, matrixed environments, including as an individual contributor without direct day-to-day team support
- Strong understanding of Navy operations, industrial base, acquisition, modernization, logistics, readiness, or other relevant mission areas
- Demonstrated experience with innovative acquisition strategies, including emerging contract vehicles, Other Transaction Authority (OTA), or acquisition reform initiatives
- Experience identifying and shaping follow-on work through client trust and performance credibility
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with contract performance management, staffing strategy, and financial oversight
- Able to work on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA Monday-Thursday
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in strategy development and organization development at the enterprise level.
- Experience leading implementation efforts
- Familiarity with DoD/DoW acquisition reform priorities and PAE constructs
- Track record of identifying and implementing client efficiency improvements through acquisition, organizational, or operational innovation
Work Location & Schedule
- Primary Location: Able to work on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA Monday-Thursday
- Desired Start Date: ASAP
