ServiceNow Developer, TS/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Chantilly, VA
Ready to hire a ServiceNow Developer. Qualified candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance. Military (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines) experience is a big plus!
Responsibilities:
- Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancements, using JavaScript and ServiceNow workflows.
- Promote best practice implementations of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in large-scale environments.
- Engineer ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) Implementation for Incident, Problem, Change, Event and Schedule Management to include workflows, business rule customization and scripting.
- Propose and manage the shared data needs between the CMDB, Asset Management and Configuration Management.
- Utilize current best practices for CMDB procedures and provide input or feedback for continuous improvement.
- Plan for data ingestion from different legacy sources, make design decisions on that data and work to reconcile data based on the chosen authoritative source.
- ServiceNow Service Portal Implementation and Customization; develops Service Portal widgets and capabilities, leverages UI policies, UI actions, client scripts.
- Implement ServiceNow users, groups, roles, ACL management.
- Develop applications and modules using scripted REST APIs and customized notifications, approvals, and inbound email actions.
Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Developer and/or Administrator Certificate, or ability to earn certification within 6 months after start date.
- TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Security Clearance required.
- Knowledge of Cloud Architecture.
- Knowledge of at least one operating system: Linux, Unix, Windows. Prior experience as an administrator or architect in any of the well-known operating systems is helpful.
