Job Summary: The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety and health of workers at HuGus Inc.'s construction sites. The SSHO will develop, implement, and enforce safety programs, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant safety certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, OSHA 500, EM 385-1-1, or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience with government contracts, particularly those requiring EM 385-1-1 compliance, is a plus.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1 standards, and other relevant safety guidelines. Understanding of construction processes and the unique safety challenges they present.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and influence others to prioritize safety. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work on construction sites, including standing, walking, and climbing as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
Work Environment: The SSHO will work primarily on construction sites with some office work as needed. The role may require extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines and ensure site safety.
