Job Summary
Performs public-facing, entry-level work involved with qualifying individuals for housing rehabilitation and down payment assistance through the City of Orlando. Performs paraprofessional-level work. This intake specialist collects and evaluates pertinent information and counsels applicants regarding personal finances all while following grant rules and regulations to determine eligibility for assistance. Work is performed under moderate supervision of the grant manager and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through discussions, review of files, and reports submitted.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Government, Finance, Business Administration, or the social sciences with two (2) years of public contact work to include experience in customer relations or finance required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
