JOB TITLE: TRAFFIC CONTROL TECHNICIANPRIMARY FUNCTION:The Traffic Control Technician position is responsible for material handling, as well as assisting with delivering, installing and manning traffic control activities. This position ensures that plans are followed correctly; work is complete accurately and on-time while following appropriate safety protocols. This role ensures that the customer is satisfied with the overall work product.PRIMARY DUTIES:Assists with delivering and installing traffic control materialsManage traffic control activities (lane closures, construction barricade set-ups, special event logistics, etc.)Maintains cleanliness and storage of materialsKnowledgeable of traffic control requirements for lane closuresResponsible for ensuring plans are completed accurately and on-time while following appropriate safety protocolsMonitors traffic control requirements for lane closuresResponsible for understanding customer needs with the ability to provide expertise on job set-upPeriodically conduct weekly safety meetingsPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned by ManagementEDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have a High School diploma or equivalentMust qualify to drive under the company's insurance requirementsMust have excellent customer service and problem-solving skillsMust be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one timeMust be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projectsMust be detail oriented and organized4-Horn Traffic & Barricade is an Equal Opportunity Company.
