Security Guard (Identification Checker)

Job Title

Controls access to facilities and events by requesting and verifying identification from customers.

Ensures compliance with rules and regulations of the facility/event.

Circulates among patrons to maintain order and to prevent damage to furnishings.

Removes disorderly patrons from the activity.

Safeguards supplies, equipment and other items contained in or around facility.

Reports fires, accidents, and any subsequent hazards, taking appropriate emergency action.

Maintains maximum security of assigned area by performing area security checks.

Directs foot traffic and answers questions from customers during major events.

Responsible for handling sensitive personal information in a confidential manner.

Filling out reports on incidents of theft or accident, when necessary.

May operate MWR vehicles to move between facilities.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
