Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance

Join a mission-focused team building and sustaining VM-based environments across development, test, and production. If you enjoy automating infrastructure, tightening security, and keeping complex systems running smoothly, this role gives you plenty of hands-on impact. What you'll do * Build, install, configure, and sustain C2 virtual machine (VM) systems in dev/test/prod
* Support cybersecurity monitoring, assess vulnerabilities, and drive remediation to closure
* Write automation code to deploy/configure apps and infrastructure (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)
* Deploy and support Windows & Linux servers, containerized apps, and Kubernetes environments
* Configure AWS services for compute, storage, networking, and security (manual + automated)
* Set up and tune observability using CloudWatch Logs, Metrics, and Alerts
* Troubleshoot issues across VMs, cloud configurations, and CI/CD automation pipelines
* Maintain clear technical documentation and collaborate with admins, developers, managers, and auditors What you'll bring (must-haves) * Bachelor's + 9 years OR Master's + 7 years (certs may substitute; additional experience may substitute for degree)
* 8+ years building/maintaining software systems
* CompTIA Security+ * Strong Windows Server and Linux experience
* Hands-on system installation, configuration, and maintenance
* Automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, and/or PowerShell
* Working knowledge of DoD cybersecurity controls, scanning, and remediation processes
* Familiarity with AWS, GitLab/GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Why this role
