Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Gate Attendant. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.(This description may not include all duties required of this position)Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):Manage access gates on a large construction site to allow entrance or exit for deliveriesDirect deliveries to appropriate area on the construction siteMaintain a predefined (printed/electronic) daily delivery scheduleFollow safety and site proceduresEducation - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience 1-2 years security/gate keeping experience preferredStrong communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferredPunctual, dependable and trustworthyPhysical Requirements:Able to lift/move up to 70 poundsAble to open and close rolling gatesAble to stand or walk for long periods of timeWithstand for long periods of time, noise, fumes, etc. associated with construction sitesAble to work in all types of weather (including exposure to extremes of hot and cold) and in all kinds of work environmentsEOE/Vets/Disabilities
