MissionWe, the members of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, are committed to safeguarding the lives and property of Ventura County residents and responding to public concerns in a fair, unbiased, lawful manner that promotes neighborhoods free from crime.The PositionUnder general supervision, a newly appointed Deputy Sheriff will be assigned to custody and perform a wide range of duties, including secure and humane detention of incarcerated individuals.
