• The System Integration Specialist is responsible for ensuring interoperability between JIRA and GitLab by configuring automated workflows for task tracking, reporting, and approvals.
• The position requires establishing authentication integrations with Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) to enforce CAC/PIV-based access controls.
• Specialists will develop API-based solutions and ensure secure identity federation.
• The role includes supporting secure authentication protocols including OAuth and SAML. Required Qualifications and Experience
The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in system integration. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
• Integrating ITSM platforms and developing API-based solutions.
• Ensuring secure identity federation and enterprise authentication.
• Implementing OAuth, SAML, and enterprise authentication protocols.
• Configuring automated workflows for task tracking and reporting.
• Working with Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) and CAC/PIV-based access controls.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Expertise in API integrations, system interoperability, and secure authentication protocols.
• Working knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and enterprise authentication mechanisms.
• Proficiency in JIRA and GitLab interoperability and workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) integration.
• Ability to develop and maintain secure identity federation solutions. Education
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred, Not Required)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (Preferred, Not Required) Clearance Requirement
• No clearance required for off-site duty location, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program.
