The Emergency Dispatch Specialist will support a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) that functions as an emergency services and business communications hub within Security and Fire Operations. The GSOC plays a critical role in enhancing the safety and security of people, property, information, and business operations. The Emergency Dispatch team supports Security, Fire Operations, and Emergency Medical Services while enabling continuous production and operational success across the domestic United States through exceptional service and professionalism.
The GSOC operates 24/7/365. This role requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule with variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Position Responsibilities
Education and experience are typically acquired through basic education (High School diploma or GED) and one or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience such as vocational training or an associate degree.

Position Responsibilities
- Answer and accurately enter emergency calls while simultaneously dispatching and monitoring multiple fire and security radio channels with moderate to high-volume traffic
- Provide approved Pre-Arrival Instructions in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Make required and requested notifications promptly and accurately
- Work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Support training initiatives and assist with the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
- Obtain Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) training provided in-house
- Maintain excellent and reliable attendance
- Deliver professional, empathetic, and high-quality customer service during crisis situations
- Perform efficiently under stressful conditions while working as part of a coordinated team
- Hear and interpret multiple audio sources while accurately documenting information in a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system
- Make critical decisions in real time to support emergency response operations
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an emergency dispatcher in an Emergency Communications Center (ECC), Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), or in a related role within Security & Fire Protection or Emergency Medical Services
- At least 1 year of experience multitasking in a critical, crisis-oriented, team-based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience performing responsibilities aligned with this position
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
