Description
At KAG, this role puts you at the center of daily logisticsworking closely with customers, drivers, and internal teams to keep freight moving smoothly. You'll serve as a key point of contact, representing KAG with professionalism, strong communication, and a customer-first approach.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.
Essential Functions
- Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Partner with terminal manager to plan and carry out shipping operations
- Monitor daily delivery schedule for drivers
- Organize and sort incoming mail and paperwork
- Verify driver paperwork for each load
- Image/Scan documents into the dispatch system
- Data entry of driver detention pay, calculate hourly pay, layovers, breakdowns
- Receive orders from customers and create loads in dispatch system
- Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
- Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, communication between team members
- Admin support including payroll and billing
- On-call duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of customer facing dispatching experience; Associate or Bachelor Degree in business, supply chain, logistics, preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent conflict resolution and skills
