Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Investigative Analyst to join our world-class Amazon Security organization and work within the open-source intelligence (OSINT) function of the Enterprise Protection Program to help investigative stakeholders with open-source research and analysis to support the mitigation of insider risk and workplace incident management incidents.Key Job ResponsibilitiesManage complex and confidential investigations, providing timely and fact-based reporting to partners and leadership.Effectively partner with teams across Workplace Incident Management, Business Conduct & Ethics, Global Investigations, and others necessary in support of investigations.Establish, document, and refine standard operating procedures and internal best practices for investigative functions.Collaborate with Engineering teams to build and develop solutions and tools that support data collection and analysis by translating use cases into technical requirements.Perform deep dive analysis of internal and external datasets to target and identify evidence, industry indicators, or context specific to unique cases.Collaborate with partner teams in the intelligence community, internal and external to Amazon.Identify and produce metrics to measure effectiveness of analytic capabilities and data to drive business decisions.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of military experience4+ years of demonstrated experience as an analyst/investigator/journalist supporting open-source research and analysis2+ years' experience working in the private sector supporting investigations (i.e. investigative journalism, insider risk, workplace incident management, etc.)Preferred QualificationsExperience with open-source research related to security incidents or risk trendsKnowledge of threat landscapes across the private sector, with an emphasis on the technology and online retail industriesExperience working with and aggregating diverse and large datasets to provide analysis and reportingDemonstration of sound judgement in responding to fast-moving security incidents.Experience communicating with senior leadership and advocating on behalf of investigative teams and missionsExperience with developing requirements for Program Managers, Software Developers, Data Engineers, and Data ScientistsAbility to work with a high degree of autonomy in a global environmentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
