Position Summary
Event Risk is seeking Level III officers to join our team as a Uniformed Armed Security Associate. This part-time position offers a reliable schedule and long-term stability, providing security for client locations in Houston, TX, primarily during nights and weekends. Officers will play a critical role in complying with Post Orders to ensure the unit is maintaining a safe environment, mitigating risks, and responding to incidents with professionalism and discretion.
Essential Duties
Shift Hours (Days and Shift): Nights and Weekends.
Pay Rate: $30/ hr

Essential Duties
- Ability to complete a full tour of duty, including prolonged standing and walking; conducting routine and unscheduled armed foot patrols; maintaining situational awareness across the property; and responding quickly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies as required.
- Provide a security presence at client restaurant units.
- Monitor and assess potential risks; respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while enforcing security protocols.
- Collaborate with business staff, representatives, and emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Must be able to perform active patrol duties, including extended periods of standing and walking, responding to incidents across the property, and maintaining readiness to act in dynamic and potentially stressful situations.
- Must have an active Level III security license for the state of Texas and be able to provide your license # during the interviewing process.
- Sign and comply with the Event Risk weapons waiver.
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
