Overview Join Anderson County Hospital as a PRN Paramedic. Provides advanced ALS skills often under arduous circumstances in the prehospital environment. Also provides critical care transportation to appropriate healthcare facilities. Responsible for triage to efficiently assess and prioritize patients according to acuity of their condition to provide emergency care including a variety of invasive and noninvasive procedures, administration of medications and any procedures as may be deemed necessary by ordering physician based on practice standards. Assists the RN and ED provider in providing care for patients undergoing emergency care in the emergency department. Mentor and specializes in planning and providing care for patients contaminated or injured from an environment agent such as nuclear chemical and biological terrorism. Occasionally assist with securing hospital and Family Care Center by verifying designated entrances are locked each night.
