Job DescriptionSecurity Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across all areas of the property. This role protects guests, employees, and assets; enforces company and regulatory policies; and responds to incidents or emergencies.ResponsibilitiesProvide Family Style Service to guests and staff.Offer directions, answer questions, and help resolve issues with courtesy and patience for guests and Team members.Assist with table and slot drops, cash escorts, chip fills, and other money-handling procedures.Provide rapid response and assist with medical and safety emergencies.Document incidents clearly using reporting systems.Ensure compliance with state gaming regulations, hotel policies, and local laws.Monitor all area on property for suspicious behavior and regulatory violations.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Ability to learn other Security specific programs.Strong attention to detail when examining guest identification and behavior.Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming licenseMust have valid state driver's licenseHigh School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for long periods of time.Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking.Intermittent sitting at a desk or company vehicle.Work area is both indoors and outdoors and subject to variable temperatures.May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights.
