This role ensures compliance with all applicable government regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The position serves as a key liaison with government agencies and internal leadership to protect classified information and maintain facility clearances.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the industrial security program, ensuring full compliance with NISPOM and related requirementsAchieve, maintain and administer facility security clearances (FCLs)Administer personnel security clearance (PCLs) programServe as primary interface with government agencies (e.g., DCSA) for inspections, audits, and ongoing complianceDevelop, implement, and standardize security policies, procedures, and best practicesConduct internal security audits and assessments; lead corrective actions as neededEnsure proper handling, safeguarding, storage, and transmission of classified information and materialsOversee insider threat, security education, and training programsSupport classified contract execution, including DD254 reviews and security guidance to program teamsManage incident reporting, investigations, and resolution of security violationsMaintain accurate records and systems (e.g., DISS, NISS) in accordance with regulatory requirementsPartner with HR, IT, and Legal to ensure integrated security complianceQualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required5-10+ years of industrial security experience, including FSO responsibilitiesIn-depth knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and related security regulationsPrior experience supporting classified programs and government contractsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsClearance Requirement Active DoD Secret clearance, with ability to maintain clearancePreferred Qualifications FSO certification and/or completion of DCSA training coursesExperience with DISS, NISS, and other security systemsExperience managing audits and inspections with successful outcomesExperience working with international business partners within the defense industryExperience working with design and construction teams on security requirements for new facility buildKey Competencies Attention to detail and compliance focusStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsEffective communication with both internal stakeholders and government representativesJob Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance CoverageLife/ADD & Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401(k) Savings PlanPaid Time-Off (PTO)Holidays
