Job Description

The role involves traffic safety duties. Key responsibilities include:

• Traffic safety
• Ability to communicate traffic laws and practices to residents
• Knowledge of the City's organizational structure in safety, traffic, and emergency situations
• Physical and cognitive abilities to maneuver quickly to avoid danger
• Effective communication skills for public speaking and instruction
• Assistance with snow and ice removal
• Teamwork and positive relations with children

Minimum qualifications include a high school education, a valid Ohio driver's license, dependable transportation, and prior experience in working with children and traffic safety programs.

This position is not eligible for benefits. However, regular part-time employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week can elect dental, vision, and/or voluntary life insurance within 30 days from hire.
