Aoka is seeking a Code Enforcement Officer to perform field inspections and enforce municipal ordinances on an as-needed basis. This is a part-time, on-call position with no guaranteed minimum hours. Work volume may vary based on contract assignmentsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in Code EnforcementRegistered Code Enforcement Officer (RCEO) with the State of Texas requiredValid Class C driver's license with a clean driving recordResponsibilitiesConduct field inspections and investigate complaints to enforce municipal codes related to property maintenance, zoning, signage, environmental concerns, and abandoned/junk vehiclesIssue notices of violation, citations, and stop-work orders; clearly communicate corrective actions to property owners, contractors, and the publicDocument case evidence with photographs, inspection notes, and reports; maintain accurate case files in VertexPlansPrepare and present cases for Municipal Court or administrative hearings, providing testimony as requiredPrepare and submit weekly timesheet reports to the supervisor in accordance with company proceduresCompensation$30 – $40 per hour, based on experience and certificationsPart-Time, On-Call — Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on client need#J-18808-Ljbffr
