Argenbright has decades of experience in aviation services, facilities management, BPO and technology, with a strong heritage in security services across the USA and Europe.Position DetailsLocation: Wakefield AreaHours: Varied (Relief Position)Shift Pattern: Varied (Relief Position)Hourly Rate: Site dependent, between £12.71– £15.00 per hourMain ResponsibilitiesWe believe that the best approach to deterring criminal activity is to understand the vulnerabilities and risks of each location and to tailor our approach to effectively reduce them.As a ReliefSecurity Officer , you will be required to provide a visible deterrent, respond to incidents, complete incident reports, and collaborate with local authorities.You will be expected to carry out all guarding responsibilities whilst in-store, including:Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activityAssessing and identifying vulnerabilities, and working proactively to minimise riskLiaising with management and local authorities when applicableManaging vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid causing distressCompleting colleague and contractor searches when required, in line with customer company policyDigitally reporting incidents and using tablets or phones for daily activity planningProducing detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authoritiesThe PersonTo be an effective Security Officer, you must be a confident communicator, capable of providing detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity or incidents.
