Job Description:Job SummaryThe Subject Matter Expert (SME)-Technician/Operator I for training devices is responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and testing training solutions, as well as delivering technician or operatortraining within a defined area of military expertise in accordance with established standards and specifications.Essential Job FunctionsServes as an SME for the development and delivery of training solutions for technicians, maintainers, or operators of military platforms, systems, or weapons.Collaborates with engineering teams to analyze, design, develop, and deliver desktop software, virtual/augmented reality simulators, and training devices.Provides technical guidance to production and manufacturing teams throughout development and implementation phases.Participates in training conferences, In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and related meetings.Travels as needed for data collection, testing, and delivery of training devices.Assists in developing testing documentation and user/operator manuals.Supports engineering and production teams by: Troubleshooting systems and components.Identifying suitable replacements using Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) components.Evaluating functional and physical fidelity of components and systems.Verifying proper installation and routing of components and wiring.Communicating system functionality through interpretation of technical operations.Identifying spare parts for logistical support.Recommending tools, test equipment, and support resources for training requirements.Supporting hardware and software integration (HSI).Assists production teams in meeting project schedules.Develops and delivers training curriculum, courseware, and instructional materials.Performs Contractor Preliminary Inspections (CPI).Supports delivery, transport, and handling of training devices.Analyzes transportation methods based on project requirements.Oversees and assists with assembly and installation at customer sites.Performs Contractor Final Inspection (CFI) after system reassembly.Complies with ITAR, CUI, and NISPOM security requirements.Safely handles equipment and materials.Works standard schedules with overtime as required.Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities NoneJob RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Professional interaction with military, government, and international personnel.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.Ability to analyze instructions, standards, and technical data.Ability to obtain a security clearance when required.Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Six (6) years of experience related to maintenance or operation of systems and subsystems for AH-64D/E Apache Helicopter (15Y or 15R roles).Additional qualifications may be required based on project scope.Military Instructor Training Program completion preferred but not required.Working Place:Jacksonville, Florida, United StatesCompany :2026 April 23 Florida - Logistics Services Int.
