  • 1-3 years' experience in fire watch, security, or building maintenance
  • Clear communicator, attentive, reliable, and a true team player
  • Available to work assigned shifts. You must remain fully accessible via phone and email during scheduled hours and be available on-site or in the field as required

  • Leonard Covello Older Adult Center, 312 East 109th St, New York, NY.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walk and patrol for extended periods
  • Climb stairs in a five-story building
  • Use visual and auditory senses to identify hazards

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $18–$24 per hour, in full compliance with the NYC Pay Transparency Act. Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • This role is not eligible for group-sponsored health benefits.
  • Earn up to 8.5 vacation days, 2 personal days, 5.5 sick days, and paid holidays (when they fall on a regularly scheduled workday).
  • Participation in a 403(b) retirement plan with a 3% employer contribution. After one year, you'll also be eligible for a matched contribution. (eligibility rules apply)
  • Enjoy a supportive work culture that encourages professional development, training, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
