Position Overview
Sandy Mac Evolution is seeking an Activity Security Representative I (ASR I) to provide multi-disciplined security support for a Department of Defense customer supporting Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
The Activity Security Representative I provides day-to-day security support in the areas of personnel security, document control, physical security, visitor control, and classified material accountability. This position plays a critical role in protecting classified information and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense security policies and procedures.

Mandatory Qualifications
- 0-2 years of related security experience
- Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
- Eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
- Eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) access
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
- Previous experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (desired) may substitute for 4 years of related experience
- Associate's degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of related experience
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) may substitute for 1 year of related experience
- One year of experience may be credited for each separate SPED certification
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is 3 years
Security Administration
- Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining classified document accountability databases and associated records.
- Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
- Perform destruction of classified materials in accordance with security procedures.
- Maintain accountability of classified magnetic media.
- Provide reproduction support for classified documents.
- Maintain daily logs and administrative records associated with document control activities.
- Assist in processing inbound and outbound electronic data transfer files.
- Transfer electronic data files to authorized internal customers.
- Maintain customer point-of-contact databases.
- Research, process, file, and maintain inbound and outbound visit requests and visit authorization documentation.
- Escort visitors within secure facilities.
- Maintain visitor control and escort logs.
- Assist in preparing and issuing facility access badges.
- Conduct entry and exit inspections.
- Assist in maintaining facility access control systems and visitor management procedures.
- Enter and maintain personnel information within Personnel Access Security System databases.
- Maintain customer-sponsored billet and quota information.
- Assist in maintaining personnel security files for supported personnel.
- Support personnel security processing and administrative requirements.
- Follow and enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support security education and awareness programs.
- Provide administrative support to the Contractor Site Lead and Senior Security Representative.
- Perform additional security-related duties as assigned.
- Strong understanding of security administration principles and classified material handling procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to safeguard classified information while maintaining strict compliance with security regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced secure environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative security team.
