Salary: $78,880.94

Position Overview

Sandy Mac Evolution is seeking an Activity Security Representative I (ASR I) to provide multi-disciplined security support for a Department of Defense customer supporting Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

The Activity Security Representative I provides day-to-day security support in the areas of personnel security, document control, physical security, visitor control, and classified material accountability. This position plays a critical role in protecting classified information and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense security policies and procedures.

Mandatory Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of related security experience
  • Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
  • Eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
  • Eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) access
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP)
Education & Experience Equivalencies

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (desired) may substitute for 4 years of related experience
  • Associate's degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of related experience
Professional Certifications
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) may substitute for 1 year of related experience
  • One year of experience may be credited for each separate SPED certification
  • Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is 3 years
Key Responsibilities
Security Administration
  • Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
  • Assist in maintaining classified document accountability databases and associated records.
  • Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
  • Perform destruction of classified materials in accordance with security procedures.
  • Maintain accountability of classified magnetic media.
  • Provide reproduction support for classified documents.
  • Maintain daily logs and administrative records associated with document control activities.
Document Control & Information Management
  • Assist in processing inbound and outbound electronic data transfer files.
  • Transfer electronic data files to authorized internal customers.
  • Maintain customer point-of-contact databases.
  • Research, process, file, and maintain inbound and outbound visit requests and visit authorization documentation.
Physical Security & Visitor Control
  • Escort visitors within secure facilities.
  • Maintain visitor control and escort logs.
  • Assist in preparing and issuing facility access badges.
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections.
  • Assist in maintaining facility access control systems and visitor management procedures.
Personnel Security Support
  • Enter and maintain personnel information within Personnel Access Security System databases.
  • Maintain customer-sponsored billet and quota information.
  • Assist in maintaining personnel security files for supported personnel.
  • Support personnel security processing and administrative requirements.
Program Support
  • Follow and enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support security education and awareness programs.
  • Provide administrative support to the Contractor Site Lead and Senior Security Representative.
  • Perform additional security-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of security administration principles and classified material handling procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to safeguard classified information while maintaining strict compliance with security regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced secure environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative security team.
