SOC Dispatcher

Location: Hybrid - Miramar, Florida

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) as a Dispatch Analyst. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a foundational understanding of IT systems. You will play a key role in triaging and coordinating responses to security alerts and incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and triage security alerts, ticket queues, and incident reports
  • Dispatch tickets and alerts to appropriate teams and follow up on resolution progress
  • Document all activities clearly and accurately in the ticketing system
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and external clients
  • Escalate high-priority issues according to defined protocols
  • Assist in daily SOC operations and provide administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts (networking, systems, cybersecurity terminology, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or help desk tools is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a SOC environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in a help desk, service desk, or IT support role (internships and school projects count)
  • IT certifications (Security+ and BLT1) are a required
