Job Summary An organization is seeking a Junior Access Control Specialist (Part-Time, On-Call) to support advanced research, development, testing, and evaluation environments. This role focuses on facility security, visitor management, and administrative coordination within a secure, high-technology defense environment.What You Can Expect to Do: Manage visitor control processes, including greeting and documenting all visitorsMonitor and control access to secure facilities and restricted areasVerify personnel credentials, security clearances, and visit requestsProvide administrative and scheduling support for meetings and eventsCoordinate logistics including meeting setups, communications, and resourcesManage IT/AV equipment for meetings and eventsArrange catering and refreshments when neededCreate and manage proxy badges and visitor access credentialsProcess visitor requests and verify clearances using security systemsEnforce security procedures such as device registration and restricted item handlingSort and distribute mailEnsure compliance with standard operating procedures and maintain security documentationRequired Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with filing and document managementStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage sensitive and classified informationUnderstanding of and ability to follow standard operating proceduresAbility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance and/or SAP/SCI accessPreferred Qualifications: Experience with DISS and BASICS II systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
