Job Description
- The Security Officer is responsible for policing hospital facilities
- Providing security checks at front entrance, detaining and questioning
- Responds to fire alerts
- Ability to monitor Close Circuit TV
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
- Previous law enforcement experience preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- N.Y.S. Security Officer License, current 8 Hour Annual Security Guard Training Certificate & initial 16 Hour on the Job Security Guard Training Certificate
- N.Y.S. Drivers License
- BCLS via American Heart Association
- Knowledge of CCTV and Radio
