In this role you will become a member of the Parsons' TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This position requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.Job RequirementsResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding;Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement ListsInterpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration;Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and executionPrepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partnersSupport and interact with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand).Develop reports, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders.Required QualificationsBachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of experiencePossess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselinesExperience translating technical requirements into contract requirementsCapable of working independently or leading cross‑functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWSExperience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoDDesired QualificationsSecurity Clearance Requirements:Must have an active Secret Security ClearanceEducation RequirementsOther RequirementsMust be a US citizen and be able to hold an active Security Clearance at the Secret Level.Salary Range$100k - $130kWe are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
