Perform protective, preventative, safety, and security-related enforcement functions touring hotel complex to ensure the safety and well‑being of all hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Work Skills / KnowledgeKnowledge of safety and security equipment, utensils and proceduresKnowledge and skill in how to diffuse potentially difficult situations.Able to work varied shifts and flexibles schedules.Advance skill using computer, surveillance and communications systems.Excellent guest and employee relations skills.Reputation for handling situations and confidential information discretely, projecting a positive, professional and supportive outward image and exercising good judgment for the position.Strong familiarity with how to effectively deal with situations involving the use of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and weapons.Good time management and organizational skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Compliance with uniform, appearance and attendance guidelines as outlined in The Setai Employee HandbookMust possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.Valid Florida Security license.Minimum Education and Work ExperienceHigh school diploma required AND three (3) years' experience as a Security Officer in a multi-unit luxury property, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
