Job SummaryThe Talent Specialist is responsible for all talent acquisition activities, including identifying, recruiting, and screening candidates for Vista Care. They will continuously be innovative and proactive with Recruitment. Under the direction of the Director of Employee Relations, the successful applicant will use a variety of recruitment approaches and strategies. The Talent Specialist will be dedicated to finding the best talent available to support Vista Care's vision of providing the highest quality care globally.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConsults with the respective hiring managers in the divisions they are supporting to fully understand the requirements, duties and qualifications desired for open positionsScreens applications and inquiries in a prompt manner within 24 hoursProvides proactive recruitment strategies such as attending job fairs, posting flyers, attending conferences, sending Indeed and LinkedIn messages and other applicable modes of communication to solicit passive and active candidatesPartners with trade schools, nursing schools, colleges, chambers of commerce and other sources in order to attract passive candidatesHandles a significant volume of open positions and works to find the best talent for those openingsPromotes the company's reputation as an employer of choiceConducts phone, google meet, and in-person interviewsCreates and sends offer letters, as well as all mandated pre-hire paperwork based on location and jobConducts background checks, DMV checks, employment verification, and reference checksEnsure all new hires are properly and accurately onboarded into the company's HRISActs as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection and onboarding processFollow up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether an offer will be made and to solicit feedback of applicants. Collects feedback on candidates that are unsuccessful throughout the recruitment processTake interview notes as a part of the selection processWork with Operations to ensure the Vista Care positions list is up to date and accurateCreates an onboarding folder for all applicants who receive an offer of employment and uploads all documentation into the employees folderRoutinely reviews and updates job postings on all internal and external sitesMaintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations for all states and jurisdictions that Vista Care has operations in.Works collaboratively with other members of the People Division and operations teamComplete required, on-going training requirements and competency levels within Vista Care and State/County required timeframes.Other duties as assignedQualifications and ExperienceHealthcare experience preferredKnowledge of Title VII and relevant laws surrounding arrest/convictionsProper interviewing skillsCommunicates clearly and effectivelyExhibit excellent organizational and time management skillsProficient in MS Office and Business GoogleMust be able to maintain confidentiality at all timesMust be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writingMust maintain a pleasant and professional working relationship with all employeesHigh level of competency using computers, multiple programs, and databasesScope of SupervisionNoneEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociates Degree or higher preferredWorking Conditions and Physical RequirementsAbility to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during work hoursAbility to sit for long periods of timeSelf-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervisionPrompt and regular attendance is a requirementReports To: Director, Employee Relations#J-18808-Ljbffr
