Our business model focuses on integrity, loyalty, and trust.Position OverviewJoint doctrine development and revision at JS J-7 depends on consistent analytic support across the publication lifecycle. The Junior Doctrine Analyst supports on-site doctrine analysis split between the Pentagon and JS J-7 Suffolk, contributing research and draft analysis that keep joint publications aligned with joint principles and the Universal Joint Task List. The role builds the foundational analysis the Doctrine Development Community relies on for sound publications.ResponsibilitiesTrack and report progress of individual publication efforts and support organizational workflows.Conduct research using Joint and Service Lessons Learned Systems and prepare reports.Support doctrine working groups, conferences, and meetings, including read-ahead packages.Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of doctrine issues and document findings.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Associate degree with 3 years operational military experience; or no degree with at least 5 years operational military experience.Experience: Demonstrated success in six (6) or more of the following: fundamental principles guiding proper use of joint doctrine; principles for assessing and developing joint and multinational doctrine; Joint Staff structure, mission, programs, and organizational relationships; Joint Staff relationships with CCMDs, Services, and DoD Agencies; written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; Joint and Service Lessons Learned Systems; the Universal Joint Tasks process and its relationship to joint doctrine; modern English grammar; preparing and conducting working groups and conferences; and quantitative and qualitative analysis.Security Clearance: Secret (per Staffing Plan).Desired QualificationsDemonstrated competency across more than the six minimum experience areas listed above.Prior operational assignment with a Combatant Command, Service, or Joint Task Force staff.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage.Life insurance.Short term/long term disability coverage.Retirement savings - 401(k).Paid time off (PTO).Holiday leave.Alternate work schedules (depending on work site).Flexible spending account options.Target Salary Range Market comparative at time of award.STI-TEC is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
