Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of acquisition strategies and plans for the PD Aerostats program, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential sources and suppliers for program requirements, and provide recommendations to senior acquisition personnel.Develop and maintain acquisition documentation, including acquisition plans, source selection plans, and contract documents, ensuring that all records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.Support the development of solicitations, requests for proposals, and other procurement documents, ensuring that all requirements are properly documented and communicated to industry partners.Analyze and evaluate proposals and bids from contractors, ensuring that all submissions are complete, compliant, and meet program requirements.Participate in source selection evaluations, providing input and support to senior acquisition personnel, and ensuring that all relevant factors are considered in the selection process.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and testing, to ensure that acquisition strategies and plans are integrated and aligned with program requirements and objectives.Identify and report potential acquisition risks and issues to senior acquisition personnel, and provide recommendations for mitigation and resolution.Develop and maintain knowledge of program requirements, including technical specifications, performance metrics, and schedule milestones, to inform acquisition decisions and ensure that program objectives are met.Assist in the development of briefings, reports, and other materials to senior leadership and other stakeholders on acquisition-related topics, including program status, risks, and recommendations.Qualifications/Requirements Five (5) or more years as an Analyst & working knowledge of DoDi 5000 & Defense Acquisition.BA/BS or higher.An additional 4 years experience in a related field may be substituted for education. A Masters degree or higher may be substituted for 2 years of experience as long as their degree is in a related field.#J-18808-Ljbffr
