The ideal candidate will work as part of a team on a variety of traffic analysis and design needs for a variety of transportation projects for public agencies. Projects are likely to range from traffic engineering studies, concept development, preliminary engineering, to final design.ResponsibilitiesProvide field data collection, traffic engineering studies, and field observations.Support traffic analyses and simulations, volume projections, and safety analyses.Assist with design efforts of traffic signal, signing and pavement marking, lighting, ITS, and traffic control plans.Prepare memos, summaries, reports, and other documentation.Deliver quality projects in accordance with accepted schedules and budgets.Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work as an organized, efficient team player under tight deadlines.QualificationsB.S. in Civil Engineering.0–4 years of experience in the field of traffic engineering.An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is preferred.Hands-on experience with common traffic engineering software including Synchro and HCS (VISSIM is a plus).Working knowledge of CAD software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD).Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.BenefitsWe offer an unparalleled, comprehensive benefits package—including no‑deductible medical plans, free vision and dental plans, programs to enhance work‑life balance, and flexible and hybrid work schedules.#J-18808-Ljbffr
