Job Skills / Requirements

Armed Security Officer

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS ARMED EXPERIENCE*

Must have SLED Certification

Location: Columbia, SC 29210 & 29203

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Shift: Friday & Saturday

Hours: 9pm - 5am or 11pm - 5am

-Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.

-Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.

-Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

-Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.

-Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.

-Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential threats or disturbances.

-Participate in ongoing training programs related to loss prevention, surveillance techniques, and security protocols.

-Must have own transportation and cell phone

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/ GED

Certification Requirements (All)

Armed SLED License
