Immediate opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer in Davenport, IAJob DescriptionIdentify shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TelevisionReport writingInteract with local law enforcement agencies as neededProvide courtroom testimony as requiredFull-time: 40 hours per week$21.00 per hour. Paid Time Off, 401(k), Health Insurance.QualificationsPre‑Employment criminal background and drug screenAbility to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a timeReliable transportationAbility to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written meansAbility to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reportsAssertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontationTrustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervisionAttendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism are not toleratedPrevious loss prevention experience a plus, but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent (minimum)Criminal Justice or related studies a plusMust be at least 18 years old and meet State of Iowa requirements for Security Guard License, including driver's license record and criminal background checksAbility to read, write and speak English proficiently.This is an immediate opening.
