No DoD reciprocal clearances are considered after verification.ResponsibilitiesThe Security Administrator II will collaborate with members of the Corporate Security Team to ensure compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community program security directives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to continue your career in the National Industrial Security Base while enhancing your experience and improving knowledge needed to sustain a lengthy career in National Security.In addition, this position will play an integral role in supporting the expansion and re-alignment of the security service center with the potential to evolve into an AFSO (Assistant FSO) supportive role. The Security Administrator II will report directly to the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO).Daily Duties and responsibilities will be:Serve as an Escort within restricted spaces.Review and maintain access control systems.Ensure employee and visitor credentials are issued and monitored.Prepare and process visit authorization requests/letters (VARs/VALs).Perform PerSec (Personnel Security) administrative functions to include, but not limited to:DISS administrative functions – submit visit authorization, in-process, indoctrinate, debrief, out-process employees, submit CSRs, and generate reports.Communicate status updates to the FSO, Program Leaders, Employees undergoing eligibility vetting and respond to general service center inquiries.Keep the FSO apprised of and aligned with all program security concerns and tasks.Perform security briefings/debriefings.Process requests for special accesses.Submit electronic fingerprints through SWFT.Manage document control database (SIMS) for incoming and outgoing classified material. Ensure all classified material is properly accounted for, controlled, transmitted, transported, packaged, safeguarded, and destroyed in accordance with the NISPOM and contractual requirements.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma / GED.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Active clearance within the last 24 months preferred.
