Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Dispatch shuttle drivers according to pre-planned routes and schedules.
- Monitor driver locations, traffic, and weather to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide real-time support to drivers in case of emergencies, breakdowns, or delays.
- Communicate with the shuttle load planner and warehouse teams to ensure efficient load movements.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatches (paperwork + TMS updates), driver performance, and any service disruptions.
- Coordination and communication with customers to ensure compliance, delivery, and satisfaction.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatching software.
- Strong decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver compliance.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in dispatching or transportation management.
